OneDrive is the cloud storage application from Microsoft that enables you to automatically upload your data to the online storage facility provided by Microsoft, \u2013as an additional backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t want to do this \u2013 in any case, it\u2019s on rather shaky ground under data protection law \u2013 you can leisurely uninstall OneDrive. You can simply deactivate the software under the \u201cPrograms and Features\u201d option in the Control Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t manage to find any entry there, \u2013which now happens frequently, \u2013you can also uninstall OneDrive manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just open a command prompt as administrator. Enter in the search box to the right, next to the Windows Start button, the search term \u201cCMD\u201d. This should immediately bring up the command prompt for you. Now right-click the icon and select the option \u201dOpen as Administrator\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The command line will now open. Copy the following line into it and press Enter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>C:\\Windows\\System32\\OneDriveSetup.exe -uninstall<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s all there is to it. Now OneDrive will leave you in peace.
