How to remove Engelmann software from your Windows PC – step-by-step instructions for Windows 8, 10, and 11.
💡 Two ways to achieve your goal
You can remove Engelmann software in two ways: via the uninstallation program included with the software or via the standard Windows method. Both work. We recommend the Windows method because it is always consistent.
🪟 Windows Method (Recommended)
This method works for all our programs and generally for any installed Windows software:
Open Control Panel
Press the Windows key, type "Control Panel", and press Enter. Alternatively, on Windows 10/11: Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
Access Program List
In the Control Panel, change the view in the top right to "Large icons". Then click on "Programs and Features" (Windows 8) or "Apps and features" (Windows 10/11).
Find Program
You will see an alphabetical list of all installed programs. Scroll to the desired Engelmann product (e.g., Photomizer 3, MovieJack, Rescue Stick).
Click Uninstall
Select the program with a left-click. Then click "Uninstall" – either at the top of the list (Windows 8) or directly on the selected program (Windows 10/11).
Confirm and Wait
If a confirmation window appears, click "Yes" or "Uninstall". Depending on the program, uninstallation takes a few seconds to a few minutes. Afterward, the program is removed.
🔧 Alternative: Dedicated Uninstallation Program
Each of our programs comes with its own uninstallation routine. You can find it:
- In the Start Menu under the respective program folder (e.g., "Engelmann Software → Photomizer 3 → Uninstall Photomizer 3")
- In the software's installation directory (typically C:\Program Files\Engelmann Software\...) as a file named "uninstall.exe" or similar
Both methods lead to the same result. The Windows method is usually faster and more consistent.
