A typo in the final PDF doesn't mean you have to find the original document and recreate everything.

With PDFolio Plus and Pro, you can change existing text lines directly in the PDF. The existing font will be preserved as far as technically possible.

Existing images can also be replaced or removed from the document.

Headers and footers can also be added. You can check the result in the preview before saving.

🔒 Protect PDF files with a password

You can protect confidential PDF documents with a password.

An existing password protection can also be removed, provided you know the corresponding password.

PDFolio does not manage additional PDF permissions for printing, copying, or modifying documents.

🔐 Permanently redact confidential content

Do you want an address, account number, or other confidential information to really disappear from a PDF before sharing it?

A black bar over the visible text is not necessarily sufficient. The underlying content may still be part of the document.

PDFolio Pro permanently removes redacted content from the PDF.

This does not merely place a black bar over the visible content.

This is suitable, for example, for contracts, invoices, personnel records, or other documents that you wish to share with third parties.

🔐 Your documents stay with you

PDF files often contain confidential information: invoices, contracts, tax documents, personnel records, business documents, or private correspondence.

Therefore, PDFolio processes your documents locally on your computer.

No upload of your documents. No cloud processing of your PDFs.

Your PDF files are not transferred to Engelmann Software servers for processing.

For activation and regular license checks, as well as for updates, PDFolio requires an internet connection. Your documents are not transferred during this process.

The original remains intact

PDFolio also protects you from accidentally overwriting your original document.

The edited result is saved as a new file. The original remains intact.

For functions such as watermarks, page numbers, and signatures, you can additionally check the result before saving.
